I tried several times to burn with NERO 5.5.2.4 SVCD and it burned with no compliance, but it's not playing on my LG 3315P DVD player. (VCD plays well)
I decided to use I-AUTHOR, my files are "avi" and I am not able to find what is "mps".

Hi,
MPS files are the I-Author variations of MPEG2 files. They are however not exactly MPEG2 files itself. Meaning when you just rename your MPEG2 file to MPS, it won't work.
There is a tool which converts MPG files to MPS, so they can be used in I-Author.
