Foxsports Replays

Using a USA VPN to access https://www.foxsports.com/replays and in the past I was able just use stream detector to grab the N_m3u8dl-RE link and download a game. If you don't have a TV provider they have a preview which is generally enough to grab the link and get out. I believe they have now inserted ads and after an extremely long time using N_m3u8dl-RE downloading a 4gb file all I got was ads. I also tried with IDM but that said can't download blah blah.
Could anyone offer some insight as to how I can download some files please

It's a bit of work until someone tells you an easier way. You can download the m3u8, remove the segments with ads (weirdly enough, the one that don't have ad in the filename are the ads haha), append the full url to the links with find and replace (parts are missing the https://foxvideo-sports.akamaized.net/) and give that to N_m3u8-RE to download from the local file.

On a quick look, I think you missed just this:

append the full url to the links with find and replace (parts are missing the https://foxvideo-sports.akamaized.net/)

So, just use find and replace.

Find

/exp

Replace with

https://foxvideo-sports.akamaized.net/exp

On a second look you also left out some #EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY which I'm not sure if they'll make problems.
