I am having probs! (VCD).

I have imported an mpeg into it. It runs ok on preview. Select
no Menu's. Then go to make disc and it crashes! every time.

ahhh.

Anyone else have this problem...

You are not alone. I have also tried workshop(only the demo though) and it crashes now and then for me. I'm running it on win2k sp2.

I am on Win 98.

Is there any other Authoring software like it that runs on 98 as Spruce up
doesn't.

I have burned a VCD using Nero Burner Plays ok on PC but doesn't play on my DVD drive. But Originals do.. What is the difference between a VCD and a Copied one? apart from its a CDR.

Your player might be sensitive to the media it can play. Have you tried different CDR brands, or even CDRW?

Ah. I shall give that a go.

Is there some reason it should read a CDRW better than a CDR?
I have some CDR's that are Blue/Silver underneath but these don't
work. The CDRW discs are Dark Grey.

Would this apply to DVD's also?

Some people find CDRW work better for them. They're made out of different materials than CDRs.
