Is there a way to make Cedocida the default DV codec for Premiere in Windows 7?
I find myself capturing and editing some DV tapes on an old Windows 7 laptop running Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5. My issue is that, when I try to export using Cedocida, it complete re-encodes the video, even when there are no effects or anything used. I'm sure that in my Windows XP days, I managed to get whatever version of Premiere I was using back then to essentially 'smart encode' my outputs, using Cedocida for the transitions and stuff that needed encoding, but otherwise letting all untouched video pass through unscathed.
Premiere CS5.5 will 'smart encode' using the default DV settings no problem; but can this be changed to the Cedocida codec instead?
