Okay I bought a TDK velocd Here r the spec's 32x 10x 40x with a 4mb buffer. It also has something called a bufferunderrun protection, Ive never seen that before! Anyway, the question is this Im going to be burning VCD and SVCD movies up to 700mb. Is that really enough buffer?just 4mb? Also the thing cost me 70$US is that ok![]()

Yes, you are more than fine. The buffer underrun means that if you happen to use more than your 4Mbs of buffer the burn will stop, refil the buffer, and then start burning at the point it stopped. You can't screw it up if you tried.
