Player that remembers last playback position and starts from it.

I'm currently using Gom Player Plus v 2.3.92.5362 and it has this setting and if in the same instance I go. From one file to another partially played one from the Playlist it works but if I close the instance window and open it it starts from beginning. I would love to have Gom always remember playback position of its possible can anyone let me know how? I'm not married to Gom and suggestions would be great but I must have mouse control for playback basics like moving forward/backwards with mouse wheel ect...

My favorite video-player Media Player Classic Home Cinema(MPC-HC) has options to do that.
Also you can define the mouse actions you want.
Probably there other players who will do the same too, but this is what i always use for my video's.
