MENUS!!! ok im a newbie but.....

ok im a newbie but........

is it impossible to make menus to scroll up/down on VCD's? (as in interactive).
when i make a menu with Easy CD Creator 5 and you get to that point where you can name the play sequences, they dont come up on the menu page on playback. Is naming them just for another purpose?
Are the menu choices (as in the text/options) suposed to be made/printed on the background (so made beforehand)???

those menus are just splash screens. The still screen or motion image just pops up. The are not "hot spots" like on DVD to select from with a mouse or with DVD remote. although some prog like Ahead Zero -burning crap can make mutli page menus that thru arrow button on the remote u can toggle between. and most prog let u establish selectino id to reference to numbers on the keypad, but in order for sum1 to know that these number on the keypad when pushed go to a certain clip, movie, etc. you have to show that on ur menu screen, i.e. text saying "1. CArtoons 2. Matrix 3. Some other crap I captured 4. Cerdits" Or whatever else u want on ur menu. Impression with Roxio EZCD destroyer 5 platinum can make menus (with added gifs, bmp,etc, text and such) but the resolution is very terrible. Premiere / after effects are both good for making personalized menu/splash screens.....whew I'm done typin man¡
