  1. When I open a avi file with TMPGEnc I only get horizontal lines in many colors and I can see the video it all,I am using TMPGEnc 2.5 I was changing some setting but I can't fix anything,,can anybody help?

    Delete "CurrentCfg.tpr" and "TMPGENC.ini" these are the settings files, next time you run it you will be back to the first time run.

  3. I did that,but now when I try it to open a avi file the program close by itself. any idea.I am capturing with miro dc30+,saving as avi.

I forgot to tell that I already format the hard disk and install all the OS again..before the TMPGEnc works perfect,even the CCE work super,but now I can't make the TMPGEnc open any avi file that I captured,I can open a d2v files but if I want to open something that I capture from my camera,like avi files,I have all the time those horizontal lines after Tmpge open any avi file,now,when I want to burn a cd with a mpg file encoded with CCE,the VCD Easy said that the mpg file is not going to play in a dvd..

    Well since you started again from fresh it sounds like there is something missing from your system. Since its your own captures your having problems with I don't know what those things could be. Perhaps if you install several of the popular codec's, this might help. Also make sure your direct show priorities are set higher.

    Load TMPGEnc Select Options > Environment settings > VFAPI plug-in > right click DirectShow Multimedia file filter
    Select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top of the list (3 or so)

    Test again, if necessary higher the priority again
