After a lot of trial and error, following advice from other threads, I have suceeded in creating a reasonable SVCD in TMPG but only from an AVI file.

I used Studio7 to create a SVCD compatable file but jumped all over the place and when used in TMPG did exactly the same, hence my trial from AVI.

The problem is I can create an AVI larger than the 4 Gig file size limit in Windows ME. How can I get arrornd this?? Can I make a number of smaller files, Burn to CDR and get them to play seamlessly ???

If I used Ulead DVD authoring would this sort it out.

    Thanks in anticipation

    Mick :-?

I'm not sure about using Ulead, but you could frameserve multiple avi's to TMPG using an avisynth script like the following:

    AviSource("D:\path\clip.avi")
    last + AviSource("D:\path\clip2.avi")
    last + AviSource("D:\path\clip3.avi")

OK I think I get the jist but the general observation of "High Tech Equipment Low Tech Operator" applies here.

If you could explain in basic English it would be very much appreciated.....
I really have only just got out of the "coaster" production stage.

    Thanks
