    can u tell me that if my cd-rw can do overburn SAFELY?

    coz i need to burn a 7XX dat file to a 800MB cd-r...thanks!!!

    and they don't have it on the cd writer list, so....

    i suggest you search the forum.
    what is the dat file of yours, if its vcd you can not just burn it.
    vcds and svcds have to be authored from the mpg.
    if its vcd you will also need to use vcdgear on it.

  7. If you want to overburn, it's best to buy some 90 or 99 minute cdr's. I have 2 burners, a HP 9000I, and Lite-On 32123S, which was built specifically for overburning. Even with the Lite-On, over burning more than 1 minute is a real problem unless I use a 90 or 99 minute CD. With the longer cdr's, I never run in to a burning problem and the vcd's play fine on my Apex 500W.
