  1. I have exported from premiere using TMPGence and LSX.
Both versions of files(on 2 different CD's) I import in MYDVD and burn a VCD.

Both play on my computer--but not in my settop player.

I took it to Ultimate Electronics...and played both in 30+ DVD players---and both of them did not work in even one!!!!

What could be wrong with my burned VCD??
    Thanks

  2. How did you burn the VCD's?

If you have Nero, select the VCD template, drag the mpeg files over and burn. You cannot simply make a CD-ROM with the mpeg files on it. A VCD has a special file structure with many additional files on it, added during the burning process.

  3. I used MYDVD--which is like Nero--I guess.
It encodes the files and puts stuff out in the proper format.

files and folders on the disc look like a VCD---just does not play in a any settop player.
