    After downloading short movie from PC, the right speaker is mute after playing back on both a Sony & Insignia player.
    However, it will play back normal on the Panasonic recorder.
    I tried on 2 different discs, +RW & -R.
    (Note: when I discon. the right audio input to the recorder, volume works on both speakers. Any idea whats going on?

    Have you checked the movie file's audio properties with your PC? Maybe it only has mono/single-channel audio.
