    I have installed Nero 5.5.8.0 but do not have a "Write Speed" window. Also do not have active "Finalize CD" button. When I hit "Write" it shows as copied almost instantly, but nothing on CD. I have followed all the steps layed out in VCDhelp.com for Nero 5.5+. What else can I do ????

    it's trying to write a cdimage go to the recorder menu select choose recorder than choose your burner...

    If none of these tips help, try uninstalling NERO completely and then reinstalling (so that you have to enter your serial number). There have been many posts about 5580 not working properly until completely reinstalled (happened to me).
