LG BP250 region disc problems

Hi I successfully followed the Montblanc.dvd unlock to let my LG BP250 play region 1 discs. (Im in UK btw). They play fine, but im getting no sound at all from anything region 1, but fine in region 2. Any ideas ?

what region is the player set at ??

It was region 2 but I'd assumed using the Montblanc that it's now region free. I'm not too up on the details really, I set it to 0 which per the details I read should be region 0 if I'm right

did you try pressing the audio button on your remote ??
might also try doing a factory reset on the player (shouldn't affect the region free settings)
