TMpeg Missing Mplapx.dll

I recently installed an MP3 ripper so I could load all my CD's on the computer but after installing it (and unistalling it) TMpeg said it couldn't find mplaplx.dll and then crashed. I reinstalled all of my ripping / editing software but that didn't help.

I only use TMpeg to slice up my VCDs into 2 CDs. If there is another, better editor out there could someone recomend it? If not, please help.

PS Windows Media Player has also been having problems with mpeg playback now.
