I'm a newbie, but I've tried searching the web site and the forums and can't find a comment on my situation.
I wonder if someone could comment.
I've burned just a few VCDs. I've found that a few of the clips that I put on my VCDs will play up to a certain point, then the picture freezes, but the audio continues.
These are clips that all started out in various formats, and I used ULead (don't remember the specific program) to convert them to NTSC MPEG-2.
Is this likely a problem with my conversion? (it played back just fine on my computer) the brand of CD-R blank? the DVD player? Did I burn them too fast? (I have blanks certified for 8X, so that's the speed that I burned them at.)
Being new, I don't know how to diagnose what my problem is so that I can avoid it on future burns.
