Download stream for Olympic Figure Skating event? No access soon.

Trying to download this figure skating event. I tried streamlink using both "hlsvariant://" and "akamaihd://" and got errors. If anybody could help I'd really appreciate it. Trying to grab for my sister who loves figure skating. Please help. Thanks in advance for any advice or even plain old grabbing it for me. It's the only one really.

I got this m3u8 link from Developer Tools in a browser:

Then used youtube-dl:

I think I used the Edge browser on a Win10 VM. I normally run Firefox in Win7 but I have that system so heavily protected (ad urls blocked, no cookies, no javascript, etc.) that site doesn't work.
