  1. I've read the guides on this site, but the question is if I already have a MPEG2 file that is DVD compliant (352x480 w/48Hz Sound) what software would I use to Burn out to DVD-R, most of the guids tell how to convert to make it DVD Standard. How would I set it up to that? I've got the DVD Burn software, tried to run it through Ulead DVD Factory, but it spends about three hours converting prior to burning, and the video was not very good after the burn. My source is a DVD-Ram Vro type file which is DVD compliant to start, what I have been doing is run the DVD2AVi to creat the two files I need for TMPGEnc, run either the standard 2-Disk VCD or sometimes the SVCD templates, but I would like to put this on a DVD-R. Thanks in advance.

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  4. For some reason all of my mpeg2s seem to b really bad after burning (no matter what bitrate or ne tmpeg settings i do), n every authoring program has the same results with them....picture is blocky and choppy. It only looks good if i convert to mpeg1 first, but if u have a big tv, 28"+, then mpeg1 willook quite bad, but on a 21" even 25" tv, all of my mpeg1s seem to b much better quality than my mpeg2s.
