Video not exporting to separate files

I have broken out my long video into smaller chunks on individual lines, I choose to export the project and split files by markers, but I still get one giant file. What am I doing wrong? I want each line to export to a separate file.

Sorry.....VSDC Video Editor. Happy to try a different once since I just need an easy way to make smaller files from it.

That crap...

And what are your files? You can split most video files with mkvtoolnixgui. But you will get mkvs files.... see https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/359121-How-to-extract-cut-parts-from-a-mkv-includin...ubtitle-tracks

Or try another editors like Videoredo, Solveigmm Video Splitter...not free though.
