I've got two different movies I got from people using direct connect. when I
play the avi on the computer, all seems fine. but when I try to convert
using tmpgenc, they lock up about 60% in (give or take a little. it doesn't
want to go any further than that. I've tried rewriting the index and
repairing using virtualdub without any luck.
anyone have any problems like this? virtualdub says I have a bad frame in the movies, but I can't see that the frame is corrupt. how do I fix them. it took me a while to get them, so I am hesitant to delete them. there were numerous people who had the same file, so I don't know if they had the same problem.
i found the faq here and tried it with no success
