Ulead Pictureshow - unable to access menu beyond page 1

I just bought Ulead Pictureshow. Software is easy to use and seems quite good. I made a few VCD's with multiple slide shows on each. However, in my DVD player (Samsung DVD-V1000), I am unable to access the menu pages and slide shows beyond the first page. I have tried every key on the remote, but the menu stays stuck on page 1. This limits me to viewing only the first six slide shows on any one disc (six is the most their templates have on one page).

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, is there a fix?

I am having a similar problem. Whether burning a VCD or DVD I can "move next" to the other menus but if I highlight one of the slide shows and hit 'Enter' it plays the first slide show on the first menu. If I enter the number directly & hit 'Enter' it will play the one I want. Also the background music only plays on the first menu page. Basically, only the First Menu Page works properly.
While researching my problem, I read in a google newsgroup post that many DVD players do not do VCD menus properly. I am using a sony dvd player. So I dont know if the problem is player compatibility or if the software is not creating a true compliant VCD / DVD menu system.

Maybe someone else has the answer. I'll keep looking.

I did a reset of my DVD player. Problem solved. I'm able to get to the second menu page without a problem.

Have you tried to play a selection using the number keypad? This works for me.

Oops, I see that you can select with the keypad. My player doesn't highlight the menu items properly, so I just use the keypad. I don't find it too much of an inconvenience.
