I have a very short (1m15s), basic video that I need for a website. I have completed my editing, but every time I go to export the project, the software crashes. No matter what format or quality I choose, the software stops working. If I can send someone my vproj file, would you be able to export it in the format I need then send it back via dropbox? I need this video asap. Thank you in advance.

  2. What makes you think it won't crash for other people as well? It's pretty buggy software

It's probably faster to redo the project in something else more stable, especially since your description says it's short and basic

I've read on numerous forums and comment sections where people have had success using VSDC and have exported without issue. I'm not thinking that my actual video is the problem, but something is conflicting within Windows. I would like to use Windows Movie Maker but you cannot add a watermark/logo. I'm very new to video editing and would not like to start from scratch.

  4. What type of video is it? Use mediainfoxp (view=>text)

There are many ways to add a logo or watermark, is that all you are doing? Or what other manipulations are you doing ?

The video was shot on an iphone 6s. I have added a title screen, minor fade in and out effects, some text captions and I slowed the playback rate to 25% for a portion of the video. I would like to export it as a high quality MOV or MPG file.

  6. It's might be crashing because your video is likely VFR (variable frame rate) . Mediainfoxp will tell you

I suspect that is what is causing VSDC to crash . Probably it will crash on another computer using that as well. You can try to convert it to CFR then replace the asset, or use something else

  9. Also, iPhone 6 video is generally even more finicky than previous versions (partly due to whatever proprietary voodoo they're using to create slow motion.) Even sophisticated editors like Premiere don't recognize some of the underlying code.
