copy blu-ray to PC to use Plex

i'm using the Plex channel on my ROKU 3
i want to save my blu-ray (that i bought) to my PC (win7) and save them to my plex media server
if this is possible, what software(s) do i need?
i have anydvd hd and dvd ranger (trial versions)

you may need to upgrade anydvd to the paid version because the trial / free version may not work on many new release movies.

I'm not sure if Plex can stream the menus and what not of a blu-ray disc however you can use MakeMKV to backup the main movie and any selected audio and subtitle tracks of your choice to a MKV file then add the file to Plex for streaming.

it sounds like i need to buy anydvd if i'm going to use it for blu-ray
