  1. At first, the Apex would not play CD-RW's, but when I got my latest CD-RW burner (Cyberdrive), I could play CD-RW's. It seemed that it depended on what durner I used, and not what brand of CD-RW disk I used.

Now, I got the Pioneer 104, and I have tried two DVD-RW disks, none of them play in the Apex. I see that the Apex-660 is listed to play DVD-RW's, so my question is, what brand of DVD-RW and what DVD-RW burner was used to make a disk that would play in the Apex-660?

It sure is nice to have a DVD-RW (and CD-RW) for testing...

I noticed with my APEX that if I do not turn on Joliet and ISO 9660 when burning a DVD the disc will not play. This is with regular DVD-r media, I have not tried the rw disks. My burner is a A04.

To the optimist, the glass is half full.
To the pessimist, the glass is half empty.
To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
