  1. I burned a movie in the bin cue format one in data mode 1 and the other in data mode 2. I have toshiba SD-2800 on the disc i burn in data mode 1 i get a disc error on the disc in data mode 2 it recognizes it as VCD but only displays a grey screen if anyone could help me out with what im doing wrong i would appriciate it

  2. From what you've described, it sounds like you haven't actually correctly authored a VCD...

    VCDs can only be made with MODE2 Form2 sectors (for the video tracks)...

    You can make VCDs with Nero and Easy CD Creator but you must use their VCD templates/wizards. VCDs are not ordinary data CD-ROMs.

  3. Same problem here i burn the bin and use mode 2 , it plays on my pc as a vcd and the standalone recognises it as a vcd BUT wont play it.
    Anyone know why this is happening?

  4. I gues it has something to do with the block size on the CD-R. Symptoms are somewhat similar with my standalone. It still tries to play, but image is very chocky (plays one second, pause one second).

    I'm trying different options and I let you know what I found.
