That's just Sony trying to rebrand and slick up their offering, so they can charge more. The old Vegas interface is getting aged. Vegas was a hit, but most of their other software are flops.

Editing is Editing. But some editors want a triple screen space shuttle cokkpit type view. It's like a bigger peenis. That's why you can't figure out what it is, because it's basically the same animal in a different skin.

I would NEVER buy into anything brand new from Sony. It's subject to getting dropped later if it doesn't fly.

Check the Vegas forum for comments too. They're pretty outspoken.
