Every forum has rules for posting, and cross posting is frowned on, or prohibited at virtually all of them. Its best to read threads in a forum for a while, and learn the rules and general attitudes of members in that forum before joining. I realize many join Videohelp because they have a specific, immediate problem they need assistance with, but even then common sense should guide your posting habits.

Perhaps common sense is a misnomer.

Videohelp is a fairly relaxed place for questions and answers. You want strict and snarky, you should try Doom9.

As I am the guy that got the original post moved into the Mac forum, I have to take some responsibility here. I really thought he needed Mac specific help and I still do, but this time he ended up being one of the rare posts in the Mac forum that nobody gave a crap about. I have no idea why. Bad luck I guess.

So wetsignal waits like 4 days, NOBODY does jack sh*t to help him, so he decides "Maybe I would have gotten help had my post stayed where I put it" and he posts again. Then johns0, for the millionth time, acts like a complete dick and closes the new thread for being "cross posting".

Baldrick - OK, I get that for some bizarre reason that defies all logic that johns0, king of *******s, is your BFF. But dude, seriously? Why can't you overrule him - AGAIN - and open that new thread again? He is such a constant dick. He is always closing threads. My personal favorite is when over a year ago a couple of guys took over a thread where someone still needed help, made some political statements - and bam! There is johns0, Sir Douchebag himself, closing the thread. I threw a fit over that in a new post and the thread got reopened after I pointed out that if those were the rules going forward, I was simply going to post poltical statements in any thread I didn't personally like just to get them closed. Look, I get that maybe you need moderator help, but man, this is bs and you know it. What the hell is johns0's problem? And why are you letting him continually be such an ass here?
