I am a special ed teacher who's classroom has been broken into 3 times. I finally downloaded iSentry on my computer (a motion sensitive video surveillance app) and I've got a 6 second clip of the thief in front of my computer........but the built in iSight on my Mac does not have night vision so the video is virtually pitch black, with the exception of the thief's cell phone (he/she is using it to look in my desk). So that's were I come to you guys. Is there anyone out there who can lighten the video so I can see the thief? Your help is much appreciated! Below is a link to the video in my dropbox. Thanks again guys.

Its recorded pure Black video
there's nothing you can do about it -
There is no detail to recover in the black areas. But if you reencoded the sample for upload it's possible the original had some detail and the encoding program eliminated it. Try using an editor that allows cuts without reencoding. Then upload that new sample.

Thanks so much for all your help. The file you're looking at on my dropbox is the original. Hopefully this guy comes back and I can catch him!
