  1. I just wanted to report a major flaw/problem with the latest nero burning rom (for dvd/cd use) AND the Dazzle 2 capture card (and quite possibly Spruceup as well).
All was fine on my system last night. I burned a dvd this morning with the new version of nero. Tonight i go to use my dazzle 2. i hit "initialize"(what makes the video run in) and each and every time it restarted my PC!! I am on windows xp, the previous version of nero worked fine. I did a few things by unintalling movie star. No dice. I just uninstalled the nero, restarted my system and the problem went away. I will let nero know about this as well.
ALSO it may affect those who use spruce up. i went to make a disc image and after it's done compling the file it makes the image it froze and hung on compile, these bugs started once i ran the new version of nero--so beware when using the new 5580--thanks

  2. I have a problem similiar to that. Everytime i try to run an install from a burned cd my system restarts. Im also running Nero 5.5.8.0. So im going to try to uninstall it and see what happens. I swear, everytime something new comes out, it breaks something lol. thanks for the help tho :)

There seems to be a problem with the NERO 5.5.8.0 install program. Try to completely UNINSTALL the previous version, then do a REINSTALL of 5580 (you will have to re-enter your serial number). This fixed ALL of my NERO problems.

(I remember reading that a file called "DVDR.DLL" or something like that needed to be deleted from previous versions. Didn't go this route, tho, just uninstalled and reinstalled.)
