    thanks for all the great help at VCD... my problem is great captures with my AIW Radeon, using Ulead Video Studio, but after 'rendering' the edited video is jerky or strob like. my system is a P4 1.7gh with a dedicated 80gb HD for video. ATI is not much help, and I've been looking her for quite a while, and not found an answer.

    what are you using to play the video, what have you captured, analogue, or digital via firewire, what codec have you used to capture(if analogue) mpeg huffy divx etc.

    Thanks for the quick response.
    The 'jerkyness' is present in all playback programs (Ulead Movie Maker, Ulead DVD', Windows Media, etc. I've captured analogue to mpeg2, using Ulead Video Studio. The captures play back perfectly, before 'rendering'
