    I have NERO 5 something and everytime I try to burn a SVCD or a high quality VCD NERO freezes my computer. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong.
    This only happened recently when I upgraded to a new version. It does regular VCD's fine though. I also found out that NERO hangs if you have Direct Connect installed.

    try burning it as a disc image, then burning the disc image to cd-r
