I have a high quality copy of a half a movie I'm trying to burn to DVD.
The MPEG2-DVD format file is 3.5GB when I get done with the conversion(TMPGEnc). I've been trying to use Ulead DVD Workshop as the authoring tool but after adding a simple menu with one button, it tells me that it needs 5.6GBto burn the movie. What am I missing here?
I used the MPEG2-DVD format from TMPGEnc to convert before hand so it wouldn't balloon like this. I've also tried using all quality levels....with no luck. THe 5.6GB is for low quality......
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....

that's just free wroking space it needs for the temp files as it multiplexes and converts to vob files, adding a menu will not add much to the total amount of space you will occupy on the dvd-r disc.
