Burning SVCD Using Nero 5.5.7.2

I am using Nero 5.5.7.2 to try to burn an avi to SVCD. I get the file burned but my Pioneer DV-333 only recognizes it as a CD. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? This is my first try at a burn.
