I use Speccy to check all temps on my PC and I noticed last night that the "motherboard" temp was a little high and I wondered....where or what is used to monitor the temp on the board itself. Is it the northbridge or southbridge or is it just a sensor. I posted a pic below showing the 3 places I think it might be. If I can find out which one it is I'll try a fan on it and see if it helps but I'm not sure which one monitors the temps?

this isn't as high as it was. Just wanted to show what I meant using Speccy.

Nope. 54 is cool. I had a quad-core that regularly hit 90C with 100% CPU usage.
