I shot some footage and when I pulled it off the camera, it was a bit soft. It's not terrible with semi-close up subjects but with not so close up subjects the image is soft enough to make the subjects look blobby. I would go re-shoot these scenes but one of my actors recently became paralyzed due to an accident involving a lawn mower. Is there a fix for the blobby subjects or am I just kind of SOL here?

You can try applying some sharpening filters with masks with software it if you can't reshoot
But if it's that bad, you're probably SOL
If the background objects are static, you might be able to use some replacement techniques . It depends on the camera movement and how the shot was composedLast edited by poisondeathray; 28th Apr 2013 at 16:15.
