Setting up MMC 7.5 or 7.6

Hi All

I've got a ATI TV Wonder capture card which I'm happy with, I use MMC ver 7.1. I see around the forum people discussing the merits of moving up to either 7.5 or 7.6. I've found that 7.1 limits the size of frame you can capture.

Trouble is I cannot get it to install. It installs everything apart from the TV bit (which is the bit I'm interested in). I'm using XP don't know if thats anything to do with it. Also I get a compatibility error message at the end of each installation saying that its not happy with my VGA card. I use a Voodoo 5500 (laugh if you will it blows the pants of most of the new cards around - nice metaphor Alan!).

Any ideas?

If the thing about your video card is that you get test results back and it fails 'cause it's not a Raedon or whatever, that's ok and you probably can ignore it.

About MMC, I tried to install 7.6 and could not get the install to even list TV as an option (I have XP-Pro). I finally downloaded 7.5 and used the advice from the forums to edit the install.ini file and set Hwdetect from 1 to 0. The TV option appeared and installed just fine.

The only problem I have is that I can't set 480x480 (for SVCD) as an option in capture. I still haven't been able to solve that one yet.
