Sorry for moving my problems around

I'm trying to convert an mpg to divx (smaller file size for distribution). I used vdub, video to mp42, audio to mp3. I cannot get the audio to play for me in any player. It starts for a second, then stops. I had someone else download a sample of the file, and it played fine for them! I also tried converting it back to mpeg with tmp, and that worked, also.

Any ideas? I assume that I have the codec for my own file, since I made it myself This is not the only divx I've had this problem with, some play fine, some don't, but I can always convert them to mpg with tmp and then they work.

Ah, answering my own question again...I downloaded the Divx 4.0 beta full install from Project Mayo, and it plays the files just great with the Playa.
