Much more info needed to even begin to help: playing app - you list 4, which os (32 v 64bit), file rez &framerate, displaycard output rez settings when in fullscreen mode (you are in fs mode right?)...

Where did you get that idea? Your TV will not do passthrough of DTS from the optical toslink out from your TV, that's all. It will output PCM stereo to your receiver, if your setup is like that. As to limited framerate, huh?

Anyway, I have the LG 65LW6500 and can confirm it will play h.264 mkvs and transport streams from NTFS formatted thumb drive or external hard drive. (Haven't hooked up my HTPC yet, been busy remodeling a room for my new toy.)

I suggest you put a 3D video on thumb drive or external hard drive and connect to one of the USB ports. Simply to test whether your TV is working properly. BTW, are these legit files, meaning they're encoded correctly? You can download sample 3D files to be certain the problem isn't there.

Also, my TV didn't offer me all options in settings right away. It took a few times turning off, unplugging for awhile, then restarting to get everything up and running correctly. I thought it might need a firmware update, but no, I have the latest. Although you might check to see if there's a newer firmware update available for your TV.

Here's a dedicated thread on your model TV, maybe you'll find something useful there:

    Good luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
