    I'm thinking about buying one of these for VHS and laserdisc conversion. But, you know, once bitten...

    I hate to buy the thing and get disappointed. Anyone have any experience/advice?

    Are you looking to do analog-to-digital conversion? This Kramer won't work for that purpose. It converts analog video (composite, s-video) to a different kind of analog video (VGA).
