    Hello.
I already asked around about this issue but I guess that, as for now, I've asked in wrong places, so I hope that now I'm in the right place.
I need to analyze and fix a h264 1080i 50Hz (or 25 fps) video stream from a satellite recording.
To make long story short, the recorded files of my sat pvr are in a weird format with the extension .trp, splitted every 2 Gb, with 2 other file, .idx and .ifo.
I've tried several softwares and apps to convert it into Transport Stream aka .ts and everyone did the task.
The issue is related to the DXVA playback: when I play the recording, in .trp or .ts, or even demuxed so playing the raw video data, the video stutters and get blocky corrupted frames from time to time, periodically, then if I press stop and play it again from the beginning, it just get blocky corrupted frames as above.
Only if I play it with the ffdshow filter set on ffmpeg-mt decoder for h264, it plays smooth and good.
So I guess that the matter is about only the h264 stream that is not really dxva compliant and/or maybe the DXVA hardware doesn't play well interlaced picture, since I found that this video is progressive but with the interlace flag on.

    Here my requests:
    • is there a program to analyze and correct/fix the h264 video stream/data ?
    • is there a program that let change the interlace flag (and maybe some other flags) of a .ts or every other h264 video files?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
