After running into the latest hassle with Pinnacle Studio 9, I'm looking at Sony DVD Architect. For editing I've already got Vegas 8 Pro which is far more sophisticated than Pinnacle Studio 9, I've basically only been using Pinnacle for DVD authoring. It works fine when it works but I'm just tired of the hassles.
I realize DVD Architect isn't an editing app but is there anything that Pinnacle Studio will do as far as authoring that DVD Architect won't?

Haven't used Pinnacle since '02 (and it was a crash-prone pain then), but I do have DVDArchitect Pro and it does about ANY of prosumer needs for DVD and some for BD. Like mult subs, audio streams, vid angles, playlists, motion menus & buttons over video. I've done clean, successful replicated dual-layer, encrypted discs with it, custom menus & overlays, cc's, much more...
It's no Scenarist, or even Spruce Maestro, DVDStudioPro or DVDLab Pro, but it'll do most else that you might expect.
And it doesn't crash hardly ever.
