  1. I have ''ripped'' .sup file with the right syncronization of the subs for a movie in English.
I've just translated the English subs into Dutch but the sync is al messed up.

Is there any way to use replace the Dutch (so not the sentences, just the time) sync with the English one ?
Or do i have to add the correct time manualy ?

    Thanks in advance.

How exactly did you do this "translation"? A few months ago I bought a German DVD from Amazon.de that I wanted to see. I cannot speak German at all but I can speak Russian. I found some Russian subs for the movie (both the subs and film were in PAL, so no synch issues). The Russian subs were in SRT format and I used a text editor to translate the lines one at a time into English. My subs synched up perfectly. So I am wondering if you used some kind of translation program that screwed up the timings.

Your timings need to be identical line for line between your Dutch subs and the original English subs. Anything that you are doing that does not result in this is wrong. Please provide more information on the steps you took both to translate and to check the subs against the movie. Maybe your translation is fine but you botched adding the subs back to the film. We need more information to help you.

  3. The ripped sub i got from the dvd was like 410 sentences, PGCDemux keeps getting stuck at 58% so i just got an .srt file from the Internet, wich had the correct amount of 714 sentences
I start translating that one, but by the time i was finished, the subs were no where near at sync.

Subtitle Workshop has some useful functions to sync.
You do have to READ THE MANUAL.
