Windows Movie Maker

Hey i use Windows Movie Maker all the time but i hate win me. so i install win2k but there is NO Windows Movie Maker is there a program as good as Windows Movie Maker for win2k. I cant find one that opens avi,mpg,mpg2 and changes them to wmv. can some one help me

you might want to try out Sonic Foundry's video factory. there's a demo at http://www.sonicfoundry.com. it's a decent editor, but it uses Ligos gomotion for MPEG, so i wouldn't recommend it to output MPEG for quality reasons. but it also does wmv, rm, avi, etc.

I'm sure you know this already, but if you can get a copy of XP, the MovieMaker software is included in the install. XP even in beta is the most stable Windows OS I've seen by FAR.

By the way, cool logo - what did you use to make it?

Great thank you i can get xp but i found this Windows Media Encoder. Works great and works in win2k thank you all for your help. I think it even does a BETTER job then Movie Maker.
