    Hello

    So far I have been using format factory to convert mkv to avi. However now I have stumbled upon a problem that apparently format factory cannot resolve.

    In the mkv, there are softsubs. I do not want them on the avi. There's no option to turn them off. Looks like the subs are hardsubbed after the convertion.

    Is there some application that will let me convert the mkv to avi WITHOUT the subs?

    Disable/remove the sub in the mkv with mkvmergegui.
