I've hear dof the Zoom H1 but it has no XLR input which make sit rather useless. Any suggestions? keep the costs below $100 or £80 please![]()

For the combined price of the Zoom H1 and a field mixer, you could have just gotten the Zoom H4n. Consider selling the H1 and upgrading.

how many XLR mics?
mic XLR out or hiZ?

Something like an Edirol, that would be good, I don't really need xlr input, i have a converter so it should be okay, but some sort of portable field mixer would be good.
