I have a Sony HD camcorder.
Is there a program out there that does with AVCHD what Womble does for MPEG?
I simply want to be able to trim video and join video perhaps with a transition.
I don't want to do any conversions.
If possible the only other thing I would hope is to possibly insert chapters if possible.
That's it. Nice and simple. I like how Womble works with MPEG. Real easy, no conversion and fast.
Can this be done with the Sony AVCHD files?
Thanks.

Thanks jagabo. This seems like it will work nicely.... maybe....
I cued up some small files and no problem.
I tried to cue up about 10 2gig files.
My total output was 2 gig with parts of all 10 files.
Do you know if this a file size limited to the demo or the program itself?
I also just asked on their website but thought I might an answer quicker here since its Sunday.
If this is a program limitation are there any others that can do what I need?
Was also wondering if its possible to have some chapter points in these files without conversion?
One more thing... the files I mentioned above were part of one 3 hour long video so I would just want them joined.... possibly with chapters since it is such a big video.
But some vids wont flow seamlessly time wise. Is it possible to put transitions between videos or would this require some form of conversion?
Thanks!
