I have had enough, im goin out my mind over this tryna figure out how to re-mux a vob back together, ok let's start with the details:
the vob is a PAL Retail ripped with dvd decrypter from an official promo dvd single (can't mention the video title as it won't be a suprise then will it) and i de-muxed it using dgindex, i then ripped the untouched WAV from the album using EAC and re-authored it in sony vegas 9.0 and saved as WAV (48,000hz, 16-bit stereo PCM) and then when i opened muxman and tried to mux it, then program said the same error everytime (operation aborted, exessive bitrate) so i tried cutting the audio down and nothing changed and i dont want to re-rip using dvdshrink etc with lower bit rates as its meant to be a untouched retail cd vob. I then tried installing tmpgenc and i couldnt get it to start no matter how many times i tried (i followed the install guide to every detail) then i tried elecard xmuxer which is stupid and i dont have a clue how to mux on that, i just get.....you guessed it ERRORS again!
Now im goin mad because all i want is to re-mux .m2v and wav into a vob again, can you guys help at all OR even name all the muxers you know so i can try some, please help me as i have had this problem before and its stopped me wanting to do vobs when its a shame as i have some rare decent ones to offer which i really wanna share... thank you

What is the complete muxman log?
I guess the last is
"Multiplex operation failed, probably caused by excessive bitrate."
You could try mplex, author with dvdauthorgui (it uses mplex) and see how it works. -
ifoedit comes up with "too many frames" error when i start it
EDIT: i have tried muxing ac-3 audio and it worked fine with all muxers incl muxman, maybe the LPCM is too much for it, its annoying though as its not as good audio as i wanted, i wanted untouched wav, any ideas how i could manage that?Last edited by GizzmanSL2; 5th Nov 2010 at 09:23.

Only if you reduce the video bitrate accordingly (with dvdshrink or similar). This way you will of cause loose video quality instead of audio quality, but the DVD spec has its limits. I would prefer to reencode the wav to AC3 with the max. possible bitrate.
