Trying to remove subtitles from a mkv with mkvmerge

Hello. I have an mkv movie that plays perfectly but it has subtitles which i wish to remove so i used mkvmerge to remove them but the output file wont play, it only displays a black screen. Im using the latest version (4.3.0). Any idea what i can do? Here are the source file stats. Thanks.
