  1. I have recently started a blog and decided to post a flv stream. http://qwigi.com/ Why does my playback distort (video)?

    Some helpful information.

Recorded with a Sony in HD AVCHD HDR-CX150
Edited in Adobe Premier 9 in mts format only imported with sony's PMB and saved to flv high

I noticed this "Video Distortion" on my pc playback, mac playback.

I thought if I left the file alone it would produce good quality. I didn't want to convert it to mpg or any other format for fear it would degrade the quality.

    Any suggestions???

I tried looking up this issue in the search but was not successfull

    THANK YOU!!

  3. Thank you for the post. I am an amateur so I am not sure how to "deinterlace" it.

I thought Premier Elements 9 would take care of that.

Is there an editor that will do all this for me?

  4. premiere pro can, I don't know if elements can

you can export flv directly in premiere pro

Edited in Adobe Premier 9 in mts format only imported with sony's PMB and saved to flv high
what format did you export out of elements ? it sounds like the sony software is causing the problems

I think if you set to some progressive export it should deinterlace for you . Maybe have a look in the elements manual for deinterlacing options
