K... I'm using SUPER to convert videos from divx/xvid to 3G2 for use on my phone (LG Lotus). Older videos I have no problem with, as they're all have a 4:3 aspect ratio, so resizing them to 320x240 with SUPER is no problem and I get good results. Newer video files, however, are all done in random HD formats. Is there a utility I can use to add black bars to the top and bottom of some of these files so I can create a 4:3 aspect but also maintain the video's proper aspect ratio when I resize?

Can't you check a box in super to keep aspect ratio and it will automatically add borders?

Or else would I try xmedia recode.
